FAQ - Battery Finder

How can I find the right battery using the search engine?

To find a battery, select the category of vehicle or device you need it for (e.g. cars, motorcycles, boats). Then, use the filters below to determine the manufacturer, battery technology, voltage (V), capacity (Ah), starting current (A), polarity , and model (if applicable). Once you have selected the appropriate parameters, click the “SEARCH” button.

What do the different parameters in the search filters (technology, voltage, capacity, inrush current, polarity) mean?

  • Technology: It refers to the type of battery design (e.g., lead-acid, AGM, EFB, lithium-ion) that affects its properties and application.
  • Voltage(V): Specifies the electrical voltage of the battery, which must be in accordance with the requirements of the vehicle/device.
  • Capacity (Ah): It tells you the amount of electrical charge that the battery can store and release. The higher the capacity, the longer the device will work on a single charge.
  • Inrush current (A): This is the maximum current that the battery can provide in a short period of time, necessary to start an internal combustion engine.
  • Polarity: Specifies the position of the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the battery. It is crucial for proper connection.
