Under the slogan “In nature, everything has its place – recycle your old battery”, we are conducting an information campaign to raise awareness about donating used batteries for recycling.
We organize training courses for employees, customers and business partners, promoting knowledge about recycling and responsible use of batteries.

Information on the conditions and procedure for the return of used lead-acid batteries and lead-acid batteries placed on the market by Batteries Przemysłowe sp. z o.o. and collection points organized for them in the country

In accordance with the provisions of the Act of 22 April 2022 on batteries and accumulators (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 1113), it is possible to return waste lead-acid batteries and waste lead-acid batteries made from batteries and accumulators placed on the market in the territory of the Republic of Poland by Batteries Przemysłowe Sp. z o.o. on the following terms:

  • According to the law in question, an end-user is obliged to hand over waste lead-acid batteries and waste lead-acid batteries to a retailer of these batteries and batteries, an entity that provides services for replacing waste lead-acid batteries and waste lead-acid batteries, operates a treatment facility for waste lead-acid batteries and waste lead-acid batteries, or introduces batteries and accumulators.
  • Batteries Przemysłowe Sp. z o.o., as a provider of lead-acid batteries and lead-acid batteries for marketing in the country, provides the possibility of free return of used lead-acid batteries and used lead-acid batteries, which are transferred to the company’s headquarters in Warsaw at 61 Jana Kazimierza Street.
  • Return of used lead-acid batteries and waste lead-acid batteries made from accumulators and batteries placed on the market in the territory of the Republic of Poland by Batteries Przemysłowe Sp. z o.o. can also be made:
    – directly at the places of purchase, specified in the Act as retailers and wholesalers of lead-acid batteries and lead-acid batteries
    – Through entities collecting waste lead-acid batteries and waste lead-acid batteries,
  • directly at treatment facilities for waste lead-acid batteries and waste lead-acid batteries.
  • Any form of return of used lead-acid batteries and used lead-acid batteries listed in items. 2 and 3 is free of charge.

How to return a used battery?

According to Polish law, Industrial Batteries is obliged to collect the used battery from the customer.

  • The return is completely free of charge.

What should I do to return the battery?

  1. Prepare the old battery for shipment – you can use the box and filling parts from the new product.
  2. Fill out the used battery return form that was in the shipment and attach it to the prepared return of the old battery. Downloadable PDF version: CLICK
